FlyTDY PIT Pads?
We are the premier PIT Pad / military crashpad for Joint Base San Antonio - Randolph AFB: Why bother with a TDY "frat house"? At FlyTDY you get an entire townhome (three-bedroom, two and a half bath, two-story) or an entire single-family house (three-bedrooms, two bathrooms, single story with a designated office) just for you, your family, and your pets. You will never pay more than your per diem allowance. Each unit comes with housekeeping, high-speed internet, 70" TVs, fully equipped kitchens, private backyards, and many more amenities that are included at no cost. Plus, extra amenities are available for dual-pilot (PIT) couples. You'll have a great time here! Our promise.
The Space

Amenities - We offer high-speed internet, brand new appliances, fenced private backyards, in-unit washer & dryers, a large dog run and much more. Each townhome offers two parking spots, one inside and one outside.
Living - All units have 70" OLED TVs, a drink kit and cleaning kit upon check-in, multiple bathrooms, private backyards, communal dog run, and tons of privacy. Everything is "smart" from the doorbell, to the thermostat, and luxury washer / dryers. Of course, the TV includes all channels you could want.

The Location
Convenience - Only a few minutes from HEB, Walmart, Home Depot, restaurants, and other major shopping. Less than five minutes from your front door to Randolph AFB's main gate, whether you're here for PIT, RPA, or IFF your daily commute will be a breeze.
Seamlessness - Our invoices meet all requirements as listed in the Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) and USAF regulations. You should not have issues submitting them for reimbursement, whether it's in DTS or with a "paper" voucher. And of course, our team always stands by to assist.
The Townhome Layout
Space - Three bedrooms and two- and one-half bathrooms over two stories. Items such as cribs, stair gates, and extra dressers are available upon request.
Safety - All units have RING door cameras and a 360-degree security camera system surrounding the property. We take your safety very seriously and will make sure we always have you covered.

The Questions
How do I create a reservation?
There are two ways to create your reservation. The first is to check in the booking tool if your dates are available. If they are, please feel free to book using our booking tool to create your reservation. If you have further questions, or are unsure about your training dates, please submit a contact form with your information and any known training details. We will get back to you promptly and will help you create your booking reservation. Always feel free to call us at (844) 435-9839 and a member of our FlyTDY team will be happy to assist you.
Is there a deposit required for booking?
Yes! The booking tool will prompt you to pay a $114.00 non-refundable reservation fee. Once your booking has been received and reviewed by a member of our FlyTDY team, a refundable deposit charge of $1026.00 will be emailed to you. The deposit invoice will be active for two weeks. If left unpaid, the booking will be automatically cancelled and the unit will be on a first-come, first-serve basis again.
Is the nightly rate within my allotment (VOQ)?
Yes! Our rates reflect the amounts approved for initial and instructor flight students as per USAF and Randolph AFB guidelines.
Can I charge the rental to my GTCC?
Yes. Our systems are optimized for use with government travel charge cards. You can use your personal card for the reservation fee, if you choose.
Will your invoice be accepted in DTS?

Can I bring my family?
Yes! Our properties are designed to accommodate single service members, accompanied officers and their families, and dual-pilot couples. Please note the differing accommodations between our three rental options on our "Book Now" page.
Will I be charged for Holiday or Emergency Leave?
Don't worry, we will not charge you for Christmas, holiday or emergency leave. If you need to leave town on short notice, your things and townhome will be waiting for you when you come back. FlyTDY will always seek to reduce your stress, not add to it.
How do I refer a friend?
Refer a friend to stay with us for their time at Randolph AFB and we will say thank you in the form of a $150 Amazon gift card. Your friend will also get a welcome gift to show our appreciation.
Do you have cable?
Our TVs are equipped with an extensive TV channel streaming service. In the rare case a channel you want isn't available, let us know and we'll add it. At no extra cost to you!
Can I bring my pet & is there a fee?
We are pet-friendly. Just let us know in advance and we will accommodate your four-legged family member(s) as long as they follow common-sense rules. There is a one-time, nonrefundable pet fee of $275 for the first pet, $175 for the second pet, and $75 for the third pet. We have a three-pet limit for those pets that are thirty-nine pounds and under. We have a two-pet limit for any combination of pets that are forty pounds and over. Additionally, due to insurance reasons, we are unable to accept the following pure or mixed breeds of dogs: Pit Bull Breeds, including but not limited to American Pit Bull, Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Terrier, and Dobermans, Rottweilers, Chow-Chows, Presa Canarios, Wolf Hybrids.
What do I need to bring?
Just bring what you need for work. We will take care of the rest. Our properties are stocked with clean luxury towels, sheets, a starter cleaning kit, etc. The kitchens have coffee makers, blenders, grill stations, water filters, etc. Anything missing? Just let us know and we will take care of it for you.
